The White House has officially confirmed that U.S. and Russian presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin will hold a conversation on December 7. The call will take place via a secure video line. The conversation will take place against the backdrop of a sharp aggravation of the situation around Ukraine.
According to a White House report, the leaders will discuss various topics of U.S.-Russian relations, including strategic stability, cybersecurity and regional issues.
"President Biden will underscore U.S. concerns over the actions of the Russian military on the border with Ukraine and reiterate the United States' support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the statement said.
