The bill on the economic passport of a Ukrainian, which was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky, provides for the accumulation of about 10 thousand dollars in the special accounts of children by the time they come of age. This was stated by the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Danil Getmantsev on the sidelines of Parliament, reports UBR.
"At least according to the results of the accumulation - it will be the equivalent of $10 thousand, taking into account inflation at the time when the child becomes an adult," - said the MP.
According to him, the amount is determined by the rent - the amount of deductions from the natural resources of Ukraine. Annually, the amount paid per person will be about 500 dollars.
The economic passport will be available to a child who is born in Ukraine or has already been born but from a certain age. These details will already be available from the bill itself.
"This is an account in the state fund of the future, in which the deductions from the rent are accumulated. Every year, every month, the funds in this account will increase. And the child upon reaching the age of majority will be able to use this money either to purchase a home or for education, or to transfer these funds to his pension account, "- said the head of the profile committee.
