Near Chernihiv, near the border with Russia and Belarus, a hidden arsenal of firearms with thermal imaging cameras was found. This is reported by the UNN with reference to the SBU data.

The weapons were on the territory of two private hunting bases.

Among the seized items during the search were found a 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine gun, 4 foreign rifles with telescopic sights, a device for silent firing and thermal imaging device, a Makarov pistol, a revolver, almost 400 cartridges of different calibers, smoke grenade.

In addition, found more than 400 pieces of special lock picks for hidden entry into apartments. All means of destruction and other items were taken for examination.

On this fact criminal proceedings under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were opened.

A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
