The SBU drones “destroyed” the $100 million Nebo SVU radar station in Crimea. Ukrainian media reported this with reference to their sources.

“The special operation took place on the night of May 29-30. The Russians have one less long-range radar detection system,” the article says.

According to the sources, the station was hit by drones developed by SBU military counterintelligence.

The Russian radar was located near Armyansk and controlled a 380-kilometer-long section of the frontline, providing protection for Russian army facilities in Crimea. Allegedly, after the drone attack, space reconnaissance means recorded the radar radiation being turned off, and it did not resume after that.

“The special operation made the Russian air defense ‘blind’ on a significant part of the front,” the source said.
