Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press marathon that a coup with the participation of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov was being prepared. According to him, there is agency information about a possible coup in early December.

"There are big challenges within the state, which are recorded by the intelligence of other countries. For example, received information that there will be a coup d'état on the 1st. I think it's important information, December 1-2. I have no right to talk and share information," Zelensky said.

According to him, there is agency information that in Ukraine and Russia are discussing the participation of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov in this coup involving billions of dollars.

"I believe this is a setup by Akhmetov, he is being dragged into a war against Ukraine. I believe that he started it. It would be a big mistake, because you can't go to war against your own people," Zelensky stressed.

He clarified that it is not Akhmetov who is preparing the coup, but his readiness to allegedly get involved in the coup d'etat is being discussed.
