Saakashvili wants to return to hunger strike if deputies are not allowed to visit him

Mikhail Saakashvili has new conditions to the penitentiary service and further plans of action for the society. The former president complained on his Facebook page that the SSA staff is beefing up security at his ward in the Gori military hospital, deputies from the National Movement are not allowed to see him and the medical staff is strictly controlled so that they do not assist him in spreading his messages to the people.

Bek Basilaia's lawyer said how the ex-president intends to act next:

"The fact that deputies are not allowed to see Mikheil Saakashvili is political isolationism. All this is done in order to limit Saakashvili's political activities. Mikheil Saakashvili has a very clear position on this issue: if this issue is not resolved by tomorrow he will stop receiving treatment in Gori hospital and will only take the medicines he was taking before his arrival to Georgia".

Also in a previous post, Saakashvili urged opposition members and supporters not to miss his trial scheduled for November 29.

"Please gather in front of the court on the 29th for the scheduled "trial." This will be the first opportunity for direct appeal in the last two months. We all know that the trial is a farce, but we can use this as our meeting place," Mikhail Saakashvili wrote.
