Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with British Secretary of State for Defense Ben Wallace on Tuesday, during which the sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation between London and Kiev, the Ukrainian president's official Internet office reported.
Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the signing of the Ukrainian-British bilateral Framework Agreement on official credit support for the development of Ukrainian fleet capabilities.
"The UK has become our key partner in the development of the Ukrainian fleet. I expect that future security projects planned under this agreement will be effectively implemented," the President stressed.
"During the visit, Secretary of State Ben Wallace also met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to strengthen bilateral cooperation and emphasize Britain's long-term and unwavering support for Ukrainian sovereignty," the British Defense Ministry press office said.
