Representatives of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General's Office came to MP Ilya Kiva's house at 6 a.m. with searches. This is reported by the Andriy Pavlovsky channel.
Kiva asked the law enforcers why they "behave so aggressively." "Exclusively within the legal framework," was the reply, to which Kiva suggested waiting for his lawyer.
A representative of the SBU told the MP that the searches can begin without a lawyer, who will be admitted immediately upon arrival at the place of the searches.
Kiva specifies that there are several cases opened against him now: treason for congratulating Putin on his birthday, a hat with a red star and the celebration of Bandera's death day.
According to the MP, law enforcers came to conduct a search in a place where he does not personally reside. His child lives there with his mother, with whom he is not married.
