Connection to the heat supply in the residential sector in Ukraine is almost 93%, and social facilities - 85%, in the Odessa and Kherson regions the figure is lower, said the Ministry of Community and Territory Development.

"As of the morning of November 8, 93% of the housing stock across the country is connected to heating, and 85% of social infrastructure facilities," said Deputy Minister of Community and Territory Development Natalia Khotsyanovska at a briefing on Monday in Kiev.

According to her, in the Odessa and Kherson regions the indicator is significantly lower than in the rest of Ukraine, which is due to climatic conditions.

At the same time, the housing stock in Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyy, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions is 100% connected to heat supply.

It should be noted that the memorandum on the stable passage of the heating season is being implemented. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, reports Government Portal.

"All agreements with Naftogaz are made, as it is stated in the memorandum with the local authorities. To date, out of eight thousand verified budget institutions, more than half have already passed the relevant procedures in the Prozorro procurement system and concluded contracts. In addition, gas and heat are supplied continuously. The Government has taken appropriate decisions on the impossibility of stopping the supply of gas to CHPs, to budgetary and municipal institutions that have their own boiler houses", - said the head of the government.
