Contradictions in the anti-oligarch law eliminated

Bill No. 5599 (Law on Oligarchs) has been fully agreed by parliamentarians who have removed all contradictions from it according to the Rules of Procedure.

The session in which the contradictions were eliminated was broadcasted on Youtube.

Now, according to the amendments, the obligation to register oligarchs rests with the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). This was demanded by the Office of the Head of State.

We would like to remind you that the above-mentioned law provides for the maintenance of a special register for the registration of Ukraine's oligarchs. These are citizens who fall under at least three of the four points: "participation in political life, significant influence on the media, control/ownership of a monopoly, having assets worth about 2.3 billion hryvnias."

In the latest version, the President of Ukraine is competent to determine the oligarchs, who must also, like officials, fill out an electronic declaration.
