The State Executive Service will seize vehicles from debtor drivers who fail to pay fines for speeding on urban roads.
The Ministry of Justice reported that such radical position was triggered by a high-profile traffic accident in Kharkiv. There, according to the preliminary data of the National Police, the speed of violators exceeded 180 km per hour. That is why seizure of debtor drivers' cars will start in Kharkiv and Kyiv, and later will cover the whole Ukraine.
For now, the conditional "response figure" will be non-payment for speed in excess of 150 km per hour, whereupon the employees of MIA will seize cars of such violators for debts.
