Ministry of Health announced data on mortality from vaccinations in Ukraine

Not a single lethal case has been registered in Ukraine as a result of vaccination against COVID-19. This was stated by Tatiana Bashkatova, director of the Department of Pharmacovigilance of the State Expert Center (SEC) of the Ministry of Health.

She noted that a physician is required to report adverse events after immunization (AEIs) that are recorded in a patient within 30 days, but he should not draw his own conclusions about the causes of these events.

"Most of the NSPIs reported to the GEC are the usual medical manifestations (skin redness, headaches, malaise, myalgia, increased body temperature, etc.). There have been 14 recorded cases of anaphylaxis per about 17 million doses administered - a very low frequency. Not a single lethal case was registered as a result of vaccination," Bashkatova reported.
