Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted a decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions), Ukrinform reports.
The corresponding decrees №556/2021, №557/2021, №558/2021, №559/2021 of October 30 were published on the website of the head of state.
"According to Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decide to put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated October 15, 2021 "On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)" is attached," - stated in the message.
Control over the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, which was put into effect by these decrees, was entrusted to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
We shall remind you that on October 15, the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions against 237 people who took part in the organization and holding of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea.
