The health condition of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who has been on hunger strike in Rustavi prison for a month, is getting worse. He has lost more than 20 kilograms.

"He has lost more than 20 kilograms so far. It is a great shame and it is wrong that President Saakashvili is in prison and every day his condition is getting worse. It pains me to look at him. We must release the president", - stated Elizaveta Yasko, Saakashvili's civil wife.

Yasko noted that Saakashvili is still holding out but his hunger strike cannot continue indefinitely. According to the MP, Saakashvili must return to Ukraine, but "it depends on the Georgian authorities".
