At the same time, he said, in five regions this figure was 100%, 11 other regions connected more than 90% of homes to heat.

Shmygal added that for sustainable passing of the heating season, the government has developed five steps, within which the process of restructuring of debts of heat supplying enterprises has already begun.

"In particular, we have signed a memorandum with the heads of cities and NAK "Naftogaz", according to which the city authorities undertook not to raise tariffs for hot water and heat. For its part, the government has already begun the process of restructuring debts of enterprises of TKE, as stipulated in the memorandum, "- said in the message.

According to the Prime Minister, the government has reduced the electricity tariff for 80% of households to 1.44 UAH per kWh. The price of gas for households will remain stable during the heating season - 7.96 UAH per cubic meter.
