Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili has commented on the hunger strike of former president Mikheil Saakashvili. He also stated that any person has the right to commit suicide. This is reported by the "Ekho Kavkaza.
He was asked what the final outcome could be if Saakavshili's condition worsens.
"I don't know... If a person harms his own health... Even more: according to the law, a person has the right to suicide. If a person decides to commit suicide, he has the right to do so, but the state, of course, cannot take responsibility for it," he said.
The Prime Minister said that the authorities have created an additional group of doctors to help Saakashvili.
