The Ministry of Health approved a list of medical contraindications for vaccination against COVID-19. Ukrainians have been told who may not be vaccinated.
According to the Chairman of the Profile Committee of the Rada, Mykhailo Radutskyi, the list of medical contraindications for vaccination against COVID-19 has 16 items. The corresponding publication appeared on his Facebook page.
Accordingly, in the listed cases, Ukrainians will be able to get an official certificate from their doctor stating that they are contraindicated in vaccination against coronavirus vaccine. Mikhail Radutsky noted that according to estimates of the Ministry of Health, the real contraindications to vaccination against coronavirus have no more than 1% of the population.
"I draw your attention: in each case, the correspondence of the diagnosis to contraindications specified in the list of MINZDRAV, is established exclusively by a doctor! Please do not try to decide for yourself whether your diagnosis or symptoms are sufficient reason to refuse vaccination! The certificates of contraindications for vaccination will begin to be issued in early November.", - he said.
Specifically, contraindications to the coronavirus vaccination are:
A diagnosis of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia means, in certain cases, absolute permanent contraindications to vector-based vaccines (AstraZeneca and some others);
the consequence of myocarditis and/or pericarditis are absolute contraindications to mRNA vaccines (Pfizer/Moderna);
Cautious vaccination is recommended for those with immunodeficiencies.
