Ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili has agreed to undergo tests and receive treatment. This was stated by his lawyer Dmitry Sadzaglishvili after a meeting with Saakashvili in Rustavi prison, reports "Ekho Kavkaza".
"The problems of communication with Mikheil Saakashvili have been eliminated, because of which Saakashvili stopped the extreme form of protest - refusal of treatment, tests, tests, etc.," the lawyer said.
"We were given the opportunity to communicate in such a form so as to exclude the possibility of recording the conversation between us by the State Security Service. Because of this, Mikheil Saakashvili stopped aggravating his protest - refusing treatment, tests, monitoring indicators, etc.," Sadzaglishvili added.
He added that Saakashvili has once again reaffirmed his respect for the doctors who are part of the consilium and will continue to cooperate with the medics, including the members of the consilium.
