A court in Kharkiv today sent a 16-year-old suspect in a fatal traffic accident that occurred on the night of October 27 into custody for two months without the alternative of bail.


"Today the judge decided that the person will stay for 60 days in pre-trial detention," the speaker of the regional prosecutor's office, Dmitry Chubenko, said after the court session.


He noted that the investigating authorities have "information and evidence that it was the suspect who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident."
