From today in Ukraine there are new rules for passenger transportation during the quarantine: what you should know

As of October 21, inter-regional transportation of passengers in regions with "yellow", "orange" or "red" level of epidemic danger will be allowed, provided that all drivers, air crew and passengers, including a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test result. 



Health Minister Viktor Lyashko explained that the new rules for the transportation of passengers are a forced step to contain the spread of coronavirus disease in order to preserve the lives and health of citizens.


"Therefore, having both drivers and passengers with documents confirming their COVID safety is a necessary condition for regular and irregular transportation in any form of transport", Lyashko said.


It is noted that since October 21, interregional transportation of passengers in regions with "yellow", "orange" or "red" level of epidemic danger will be allowed, provided that all drivers, crew of air transport and passengers have one of these documents:


- proof of receipt of a full course of vaccination or proof of receipt of a single dose of dodo vaccine for "yellow" epidemic risk level regions;


- An international, domestic or foreign certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19 with one dose of a single dose of dosage vaccine or two doses of dosage vaccine approved by WHO for use in emergency situations, a negative result of testing by polymerase chain reaction or recovery of the person from the specified disease, validated through the Single State e-service web portal, in particular through the mobile application of the action portal (action);


- negative result of testing for COVID-19 by PCR or express test for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen, valid for 72 hours.
