Ukraine has already recorded 2.7 million cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of almost 22.5 thousand a day, October 20, a new anti-record since the beginning of the pandemic. There were 1,771 children and 345 health workers sick within 24 hours.
At the same time nearly 4.9 thousand people were hospitalized per day, which is less compared to the previous day. There have been a record 546 fatalities per day. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day in Ukraine recorded 22,415 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - reported in the Ministry of Health.
Also in the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 4,892 people;
- fatal cases - 546;
- 8,036 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fallen ill - 2,701,600 people;
- recovered - 2 352 835 people;
- 62,389 deaths;
- 13,781,546 PCR tests were conducted.
In the last 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in Zhytomyr (1562), Odessa (1528), Lviv (1388), Zaporizhzhia (1355) and Kharkiv (1319) regions.
