For 99.7% of customers who use the service – nothing will change, the press service of the financial institution promises.
The purpose of the innovation is to prevent money laundering. According to PrivatBank, more than 7 million customers use card-to-card transfers to Privat24 every month. According to statistics, 99.7% of them send or receive no more than 100 transfers per month.
Based on the requirements of financial monitoring and the rules of payment systems, Privatbank sets limits for a calendar month (from the 1st to the 30th / 31st) both for transfers in Ukraine and abroad:
For sender: limited number of transfers per month per client: transfers in Ukraine – 100 transactions, international transfers – 25 times,
For recipient: limited number of transfers per month per client: transfers by Ukraine – 100 transactions, international transfers – 30 transactions.
«The bank works for you, but strictly within the framework of anti-money laundering legislation and financial monitoring requirements. Therefore, from October 2021, we will make minor adjustments to the rules of P2P transfers by limits on card-to-Visa / Mastercard transfers through all channels» , - noted in the press service of «Privatbank».
