Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki says he approves decision on priority of his country's legislation over European law . However, the official said, Poland remains part of the European Union. He made this statement on his Facebook page.

 

«The accession of Poland and Central Europe to the European Union is one of the highlights of recent decades. Not only for us, but for the EU itself. We have all benefited from this. That is why it is clear to me: Poland's place is and will be in the European family, peoples,» Moravetsky said.

 

According to the Prime Minister, the priority right over any other is constitutional law. And he considers the decision of the Constitutional Court to be correct.

 

 «The constitutional courts of many member states have confirmed this in recent years. We have the same rights as other countries. We want these «We are not an uninvited guest in the European Union. That is why we do not agree to be treated as a second-class country,» he added.
