Russian President Dmitry Peskov's spokesman has confirmed contacts between the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Putin Administration to organize a summit – trying to «feel» list of topics for discussion.
«Indeed, contacts are being made between the Office of the President of Ukraine and the administration of the President of our country, Kozak, in order to find a list of issues that could be discussed. Various proposals have been voiced and formulated, but so far there is no common understanding and readiness to formulate the agenda of a possible meeting» , Peskov said.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine stressed that a meeting with Putin would be the right step. And he is ready for it in any form – and one on one, and in the Normandy format as negotiations are capable to help in the decision of situations on Donbass and the Crimea. However, Russia insists that presidents should not discuss Crimea and Donbas.
