The night before, the media reported that the Hungarian side had announced the resumption of gas transit to Hungary via Ukraine. But in the morning it was refuted by the head of the GTS Operator Serhiy Makogon. On his Facebook page, he stated that the information was not true. According to him, there are supplies, but this is only re-export.
"This is not true. Yes, now there is a small flow of gas from Ukraine to Hungary, but it is not transit, but re-export of gas by European traders, which they stored in Ukrainian underground storage facilities," said Serhiy Makogon.
