During a conversation with journalists, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the use of Western weapons on Russian territory. He believes that there should be no restrictions, as it is not about Ukraine's offensive, but about defense.

“I don't think that there should be any prohibitions, because this is not about the offensive of the Ukrainian army using Western weapons on the territory of Russia. It is about defense. It's just like the preventive sanctions that we all talked about before the full-scale invasion. This is the same thing. This is a warning,” he said.

In addition, according to the President, there is also a “gray zone” in the Russian border.

“They have evictions of people there and so on. They also have almost no civilians on the border, on their side. For obvious reasons,” he added.

It is worth noting that the Pentagon once again announced the impossibility of using American weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh noted that the United States has not changed its position on this issue.

“Yes, we have not changed our position. We believe that the equipment, the capabilities that we provide to Ukraine, that other countries provide to Ukraine, should be used to return Ukrainian sovereign territory,” she said.
