In the Avdiivka direction, Russians are trying to advance in the area of Semenivka, the situation remains difficult. This was stated by the deputy commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade Maksym Zhorin during a telethon.

"First of all, the situation remains difficult due to the fact that the Russians still have the opportunity to replace with newer and fresher units. That is, to introduce fresh and new replenishment of brigades into the battle," he said.

According to him, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to force the Russians to lose their offensive potential.

However, Zhorin added that this ability to use their own resources "creates conditions under which the enemy still manages to make attempts and intentions to move forward."
