Syrskyi believes that the key to victory is an advantage in the confrontation between drones and EW

The confrontation between drones and electronic warfare has moved to the forefront, and the one who achieves a break from the enemy will have a chance to win. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"I continued working in the brigades holding the defense in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The operational situation in the area is under our control. The enemy continues to attack our positions in the areas of Robotyne and Verbove, but without much success. Combat actions are characterized by the numerous use of drones of all types in combination with artillery and mortar fire," the chief said.

According to him, under such circumstances, unmanned aerial vehicles are gradually becoming the main striking weapon of ground units in a general combat.

Under these conditions, Syrskyi believes that only "modern and powerful" electronic warfare means can provide reliable protection for Ukrainian servicemen, and their role and importance is constantly growing.

"The confrontation between drones and electronic warfare has come to the fore, and only those who are the first to achieve a break from the enemy in this competition will have a chance to win," the Armed Forces chief emphasized.

On a positive note, he noted that despite the "rather difficult situation" along the entire front line, the Armed Forces managed to launch a process of rotation and replacement of units that have been performing combat missions on the front line for a long time.

Syrskyi explained that this will help stabilize the situation and have a positive impact on the morale of Ukrainian soldiers.

The Chief of the Army summarized that he had made "all the necessary decisions" to improve the combat capabilities of Ukrainian brigades.
