On February 29, Russian troops shelled Zaporizhzhia region 200 times, killing one person and wounding another. This was stated by the head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov on Facebook.
"A 71-year-old man died as a result of an enemy rocket attack on Yulivka, Zaporizhzhia region. A 68-year-old woman was wounded. The Russians struck 200 strikes on 11 localities in the region over the last day," the statement said.
Fedorov also noted that 130 of them were directed at the territory of Orikhiv, Pryiutne, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Plavni and other frontline cities and villages.
The occupants also carried out 4 missile attacks on Yulivka and attacked Gulyaypole, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne with 52 drones. In addition, 5 MLRS attacks on Robotyne and 9 aerial shells were recorded, which were dropped on Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and Novodanylivka.
There were also 27 reports from local residents about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
