The Ministry of Culture allows changing the format of the telethon and adding new TV channels

The Ministry of Culture has allowed changing the format of the telethon or adding new TV channels to it. This was stated by the acting head of the ministry Rostyslav Karandieiev in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"The marathon proved to be effective at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. So far, we can say that some processes in the information sphere, including the marathon, should be improved. Analyzing the public's request, we see areas that need to be modernized," Karandieiev said.

He believes that Ukrainians want to receive more up-to-date information, news and analytics, in particular, on the situation at the frontline.

"That is, we would like to see more materials from military correspondents. More information about government decisions that directly affect our people. Also, perhaps, we can add more cultural products, more documentaries," added the acting minister.
