Counter-sabotage measures: number of checkpoints will be increased in Kyiv region

In Kyiv region, counter-sabotage and security measures will be strengthened from December 28, 2023 to January 6, 2024. In particular, the number of checkpoints will be increased and crowded areas will be checked. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.

According to Kravchenko, the measures will be carried out with the participation of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the National Guard and the 114th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces.

It is noted that the number of checkpoints is increasing in Kyiv region. The checks will be conducted in crowded places: shopping centers, supermarkets, train stations and medical facilities.

"Such work will also facilitate search activities. According to the police, more than 11,000 people are wanted for committing criminal and administrative offenses," the RMA added.

Earlier, additional checkpoints were introduced in Kyiv. Social media reported that summonses were being issued there, but the authorities did not confirm this.
