On the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy attacks and forced Russian troops to return to their old positions. The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
"14 unsuccessful enemy assaults were repelled on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Having suffered losses on the front line, the enemy was forced to retreat to its positions," the statement said.
The Southern Defense Forces continue to strengthen the defense line, as well as to equip and fortify their positions in the area of responsibility.
Russian troops, without stopping, are trying to restore the destroyed observation posts, actively use aerial reconnaissance and conduct artillery shelling, and attempt to put pressure on the defense.
