The Ukrainian military continues to destroy the Russian occupiers. On January 18, our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

 This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

 The situation remains stable in the Volyn, Polis, Siver and Slobozhan areas. No offensive groups of the enemy were detected in the areas bordering Ukraine.

 Certain units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and Belarus continue to perform tasks. In this way, the enemy demonstrates its presence near the state border.

 The enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the areas of the settlements of Buchki in Chernihiv region, Popivka in Sumy region, Budarka, Zemlianka, Gatishche, Zelene, Vovchansk, Ternova, Krasne, Kamianka, Chugunivka, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region.

 In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the districts of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Kislivka, Ivanivka, Krokhmalny, Synkivka, Berestovo, and Tabaivka of the Kharkiv region, as well as Stelmakhivka of the Luhansk region.

 In the Lymansky direction, the enemy fired at the positions of the Defense Forces near Druzhelyubivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoyehorivka, Nevsky, Chervonopivka, and Dibrova in the Luhansk region.

Areas of 22 settlements were hit by enemy artillery fire in the Bakhmut direction. Among them are Verkhnokamianske, Bilogorivka, Vesele, Mayorsk, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka and Druzhba of the Donetsk region.

 Avdiivka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Georgiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire in the Avdiivsk direction.

 In the direction of Novopavlivsk, the enemy again shelled Velika Novosilka, Zolota Niva and Ugledar in the Donetsk region.

 In the Zaporizhzhya region, 24 settlements were hit by artillery fire, including Vremivka and Novopil of the Donetsk region and Poltavka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Shcherbaki, Stepove, Kamianske and Plavni of the Zaporizhzhya region.

 In the Kherson direction, the occupiers do not stop terrorizing the civilian population. In particular, the areas of more than 20 settlements were shelled by rocket systems of salvo fire and barrel artillery. Among them are Antonivka, Berehove, Vesele, Kachkarivka, Yantarne and Kherson. Civilians suffered.

 Last day units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Terny, Verkhnyokamianske, Soledar, Sil, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdyumivka, Vodyane, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Paraskoviivka in the Donetsk region region

 During this period, our aircraft made 13 strikes on enemy concentration areas and 3 strikes on the positions of the occupiers' anti-aircraft missile systems.

 An enemy Ka-52 helicopter and Merlin-VR UAV were also shot down.

 Units of rocket troops and artillery hit 3 control points, 5 concentration areas of the occupiers, 1 ammunition depot and 2 other important enemy objects.
