DTEK announced the terms and conditions for returning to blackout schedules

A return to scheduled power outages is a matter of weeks. The main condition is that there are no new shellings. Then it will be possible to completely restore the generation that was damaged. This was stated by the executive director of DTEK, Dmytro Sakharuk, on the air of the telethon.

"It will be possible to avoid emergency or emergency shutdowns if the system has more generating capacity, which will allow to be limited only to stabilizing electricity shutdowns," Saharuk said.

When asked how close we are to the blackout schedule, Sakharuk replied: "Now the main condition is that there are no new shellings, and if there are not, then I think it is a matter of weeks when it will be possible to fully restore the generation that was damaged in as a result of the latest shelling last week... We will be able to go back to blackout schedules where people know when the lights will be off."

In addition, he reported on the situation in Kyiv.

"We try to keep closer to the schedules... There are areas where, in addition to the schedules, emergency ones are also included, because there is a local load on the network. (…) But these are such point places," Saharuk said.
