On June 7, the French-German concern KNDS and the Ukrainian company ENMEK signed two declarations of intent, one of which concerns the creation of a maintenance center for Caesar self-propelled artillery systems. This is reported by BMFTV.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The agreement includes two declarations: one provides for the creation of a service center for Caesar self-propelled howitzer, and the other is the use of 3D printing for the manufacture of spare parts.
In addition, a contract was signed to transfer a license to Ukraine for the production of 155-mm shells. KNDS, known for its production of artillery systems and battle tanks, as well as Caesar, which are already in use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, will cooperate with ENMEK to implement these projects.
