France will produce 78 CEASAR self-propelled artillery systems for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of the French Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu, Le Parisien reports.

According to the minister, Ukraine is ready to partially pay for the production.

"France will initiate funding for training others. Ukraine is ready to provide part of its own resources. It has just bought six Caesar units at its own expense to launch this initiative," the minister said in an interview with Le Parisien.

He also noted that France is implementing a military economy regime.
