Government agreement with France: Ukraine will receive €200 million for defense needs

At a meeting on Friday, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a decision on an agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France, which provides for a grant of 200 million euros in the field of defense and security. This information was made public on Telegram by the government's permanent representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

 

 

He also added that the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France was signed on February 27, 2024 in Kyiv.


According to the agreement, the grant funds in the amount of 200 million euros will be used for the purchase of equipment or services in the field of defense and security during 2024.
