US Army will not fight in Ukraine - State Department

US President Joe Biden has “made it clear” that he will not send the US army to fight in Ukraine. This was stated by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller during a briefing.

Earlier, House Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that if Ukraine “falls,” the United States will probably have to intervene in the war “not only with American money, but also with the military.”

The journalist asked whether there was a chance that such intervention was a “real option.”

“I'm just not going to comment on statements made by members of Congress. The President has made it clear that he will not send US troops to fight in Ukraine,” the State Department spokesperson replied.

It is worth noting that Russia has announced training with tactical nuclear weapons in response to “provocative statements and threats made by certain Western officials against the Russian Federation.”
