Fines for violation of the law on mobilization: details

The Law Enforcement Committee of the Verkhovna Rada has considered amendments to the second reading of the draft law that increases fines for violating the law on mobilization. This was reported by MP Maksym Buzhanskyi.

He said that the upper threshold for fines is proposed to be increased to 25,500 rather than 22,500, as previously reported.

In total, the committee proposes to fine citizens for violating the rules of military registration and legislation on defense and mobilization in wartime in the amount of 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias. For officials and legal entities, the fine will be from UAH 34,000 to 59,500.

The administrative fine is imposed within a year, but no later than three months from the date of detection of the offense.

The committee also added three regimes: an offense, a repeated offense and an offense during martial law.

The fine will not be imposed if the TCC can obtain this information about the conscript through state registers.
