Today, on 24 April, deputies of Zaporizhzhia City Council appointed Regina Kharchenko as the new acting mayor of the regional center. The information was announced by the head of Zaporizhzhia regional administration Ivan Fedorov.
He also noted that for four months, more than 200 issues related to the life of Zaporizhzhia had remained unresolved and awaited a decision, including the operation of important utilities due to lack of funding.
Fedorov emphasized the need to fight corruption and create an economically strong Zaporizhzhia.
It is worth noting that the previous acting mayor was Anatoliy Kurtev, who has been in charge of the city since September 2021.
