Greece considers possibility of transferring F-16 fighters to Ukraine - media

The Greek government may transfer up to 32 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. However, this requires the approval of France. This was reported by News Break.

 

According to the publication, the Greek government plans to sell 108 decommissioned fighters, including 32 F-16C/-D Block 30 units. The cost of this operation could be from 2 to 2.5 billion euros.

 

It is noted that the transfer of 32 F-16C/-D Block 30 to Ukraine is not in doubt. However, as for other fighters, in particular the Mirage 2000-5 Mk.2, some possibilities of transferring them to Ukraine require further consultations and approval by France.
