This night, Ukrainian drones attacked the petrochemical company Pervyi Zavod in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation, which is engaged in oil refining. It was an operation of the GUR. This was reported by a source in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to the publication, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry is behind this operation.
Meanwhile, footage of the alleged attack on the Kaluga Oil Refinery is being shared on social media.
According to the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA, three drones hit the equipment of the petrochemical plant, causing a fire and damage in the village of Polotnyaniy Zavod.
"There was a fire. The equipment was damaged. No one was injured," ASTRA writes.
However, the governor of Kaluga region, Roman Busargin, said earlier that, in his opinion, "4 drones were shot down" but "there were no casualties or damage to infrastructure."
Nevertheless, Russian sources claim that only one drone was shot down, while the other three definitely hit the Kaluga petrochemical plant.
