On the night of March 15, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones. Defense forces destroyed 27 units of drones. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At night, the Russians fired 7 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles at Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, one X-59 guided missile at Poltava region, and 27 Shahed attack UAVs. The areas where the drones were launched were Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the Kursk region of Russia, the report said.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of combat operations, 27 "Shaheds" were shot down in Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions.
According to the preliminary data of the operational report, there were no casualties or damage in the capital.
