In the new mobilization draft law, MPs will regulate the issue of people with disabilities and their caregivers, as well as leave postponement of conscription for postgraduate students of all forms of education. This was announced by the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia.
"I would like to repeat once again for those who are again spreading the "betrayal": the issue of groups I, II and III of people with disabilities will be settled. The current legislation provides for one caregiver per person with a disability of their choice. This is the only way. And it's not about 'permanent care', it's just about care," he wrote.
Arakhamia emphasized that next week MPs will begin considering amendments to the mobilization bill, and they "will defend" this amendment.
The politician also spoke about postgraduate students: regardless of the form of study, the issue of granting them a deferral from mobilization will be regulated. Initially, the government's draft law proposed to leave the deferral only for state-funded postgraduate students.
