The SBU claims to have found evidence that Russian troops used KN-23/24 missiles from North Korea against Ukraine.
"At least 24 civilians were killed and more than a hundred civilians were seriously injured as a result of enemy hits," the agency said in a statement.
One of the first facts of Russia's use of DPRK ballistic missiles was recorded on December 30, 2023, during the shelling of Zaporizhzhia.
The next strike with North Korean missiles was launched by the Russians in early January this year against an apartment building in Kyiv. Four residents of the capital were killed in the attack, and more than 50 others are in serious condition.
The SBU claims that the Russians hit residential buildings in five frontline villages in Donetsk region with North Korean ballistic missiles, killing 17 civilians, as well as in Kharkiv - three people were killed and more than 60 Kharkiv residents were injured.
Among other things, logistics routes for the supply of DPRK weapons to Russia are being established.
