At night, on February 14, Russian troops struck twice at Selydove in Donetsk region. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk RMA Vadym Filashkin.
First, they hit a 5-storey building - 12 apartments in one of the entrances were completely destroyed.
"The Russians struck the city around 23:30, hitting a 5-storey building - 12 apartments in one of the entrances were completely destroyed. Among the wounded are two children born in 2016 and 2007, they are receiving all the necessary medical care," said the head of the RMA.
During the second shelling, one of the hospital buildings was damaged.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the enemy shelled a medical facility and a house. 15 people were injured: three were killed (including a child and a pregnant woman), and 12 others were wounded (including four children).
The hospital was hit around one in the morning. The main blow was to the maternity ward. In total, there were almost 200 people in the hospital at the time, dozens of patients were in serious condition. They were evacuated to other medical facilities in the region.
Rescuers managed to save a 6-month-old baby. Six people, including a child, were injured. The bodies of three people, including a child born in 2015, were pulled from the rubble.
In addition, the Russian military hit a 5-storey residential building. The entire entrance was completely destroyed. One person was rescued from the rubble, six people were injured. Among them are three children born in 2007, 2011 and 2016.
