Elon Musk urges Americans to put pressure on senators to fail the bill on aid to Ukraine

American billionaire Elon Musk has called on US citizens to put pressure on senators to not approve the extension of military aid to Ukraine. He said this during an online discussion at X, Bloomberg reports.

"These costs do not help Ukraine. Continuation of the war will not help Ukraine," Musk said.

The businessman also said that Putin "under no circumstances" would allow Russia to lose the war in Ukraine. According to the businessman, the Russian president is under pressure from within the country to bring the war to an end.

"Those who want a regime change in Russia should think about who is the person who can overthrow Putin, and can this person be a pacifist? Maybe not," Musk said and suggested that such a person would be "even tougher than Putin."

At the same time, he denies that he sympathizes with Putin. He says that his companies have "probably done more to undermine Russia than anything else."
