Mobile groups and other units of the grouping of support forces and means recorded 815 facts of the use of ammunition with toxic chemicals by the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Public Relations Service of the Support Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that 229 cases of all cases in January of this year alone.
"Most often, the enemy uses grenades such as K-51, RGR, RG-VO containing the hazardous chemical CS, which is prohibited for warfare (hostilities) by paragraph 5 of Article 1 of the Chemical Weapons Convention," the statement said.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, the documented cases of the use of hazardous chemicals are provided to the investigative bodies for investigation.
