The new supplemental funding bill, which combines funding for Ukraine, Israel, and the strengthening of the US southern border, is even worse than US lawmakers expected. This was stated by Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson in X.

Johnson noted that a leading Democratic lawmaker said that under this bill, "the border will never close."
