Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that Ukraine "must give" part of its territory to Russia in order to end the war, Politico reports.
"There must be some kind of compromise... Why do they expect the Russians to leave Crimea, Donbas and Luhansk? This is unrealistic," he said.
Fico also stated that Ukraine "is not an independent and sovereign country" but "is under the full influence and control of the United States" and is "one of the most corrupt countries in the world."
The prime minister also said that at the upcoming meeting with the Ukrainian Prime Minister, he will confirm that he opposes Ukraine's membership in NATO and that "the country will not receive any weapons from the Slovak government."
